This month we've been blessed to be around home long enough to get some overdue home improvement projects finished! From clearing out trees to roofing to carpeting the living room it's been a welcome adventure.
Lucas, Blake, Sterling and Brandon put in long, hot (!) hours roofing the north side of the house.
Lacey, Avery and Havilah were the clean-up crew!
Inside, we had a carpet remnant laid in the living room. It was a big job finding a place in the house for all the furniture while the carpet was being laid.
The light carpet makes a huge difference!

Looks like you guys are busy!! What nice helpers you have! ;) So willing to come and help out!
I enjoyed the Lighthouse Concert the other night at Silverbrook School in West Bend, WI and thought the music was great. However, I got there late and was wondering why y'all looked so "serious" up there?!? ...and what was it that FINALLY got Lucas to crack a smile during "Train for Glory"?!? :)
I purchased a couple of your CD's and have been listening to them over and over ever since. I also enjoyed learning more about y'all here via your blog entries. The music is great and your family is an inspiration. Keep up the good work...and come visit Wisconsin again soon! But next time, don't forget your smiles! :)
God bless!
